Hey musicians artists videographers painters dancers crafters teachers activists writers performers designers entrepreneurs:

You have a novel inside you. Or an album. Or a mural, film, or ice-skating-in-a-dinosaur-costume routine you've always dreamed of doing. But you just never found the time to actually Do the Thing.

Whatever it is, you have big visions for your creative projects, but you would rather eat nails than actually plan them.

I hear you. That's why I made this two-day retreat specifically for you.

What if there was a way to plan your creative year that was flexible, fun and effortless, where beating yourself up is not a hot productivity tip, where you finally make progress on that big bucket-list project that's been on the back burner until now? This goes beyond just setting those S.M.A.R.T. goals. This is a mindset shift into playfulness, self-acceptance, community and joy.

Who knew something as boring as planning could do this?

Who am I?

My name is Suzanne Yada and I am a musician, creative business coach, and ADHD-AF. And I've tried all the things the productivity gurus told me - Make yourself a schedule and stick to it! Count down backwards from 5! Do the hardest thing first! Focus on only one thing! Nothing worked, and I felt even more shitty about myself and my unfinished projects than when I started. I tied my own self-worth to the amount of things I could do in a day.

This was toxic productivity. All of this advice was at odds with my creative brain, my psyche, my soul. Do they really expect my brain to solve the problem of my brain, using my brain? That's a hard no. But there was one thing that consistently worked for me, magically, without effort.

 That was community.

Coworking. Accountability. Thought partners. Body doubling. Just having someone around while I was working, who cared about my visions. It worked every time for me, so how could we make this a regular thing?

That's how The Creative Spirals was born. And this why I'm so excited to introduce...

Planning for Creatives Who F*cking Hate Planning:
A two-day workshop retreat

We have an action-packed weekend prepared for you to get connected with community and into the flow of your biggest creative projects. You will NOT just be listening to a bunch of lectures for two days: These are embodied exercises tailored for you, with actual time to get your visions out of your head and on the calendar. You will leave with clarity, a game plan, and a community of creative weirdos cheering you on.

We are thrilled to host this one-of-a-kind program online and in person at Epiphany Space, a coworking space in Hollywood, California, designed specifically for creatives, and online via Zoom.

 WHAT’S INCLUDED:
- A new mindset around planning
- A supportive coworking community
- Creative exercises to get clear on your year
- Tools and systems that work with your brain, not against
- Recorded replay of the retreat
- Time to actually Do The Thing

Coming in person? We'll supply lunch, snacks, coffee, tea, and other hands-on materials (including a paper planner if you need one!).

Joining virtually? We'll give you digital options for all the hands-on activities. Just bring yourself and something to take notes on.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Will I need to bring anything?
A: If you have a notebook, journal, or calendar/planner, bring those. But that's it!

Q: I can't attend live the whole time. Should I still sign up?
A: Yes! Even though you'll miss out on the interactive highlights of the workshop — which is what makes this retreat different from just another course — we'll still have private replays available as your backup. We get that some of you are joining from time zones around the world and can't stay up until 2 a.m., but want to join live for whenever you can.

Q: What if I purchase but have to cancel for some reason?
A: I want to make sure you feel confident and ready to plan out your projects. That's why I will issue you a full no-questions-asked refund up to 24 hours before the start of the virtual retreat, and full credit toward any future events and courses if you need to cancel your in-person retreat. I want you to trust the process - and yourself.

"This retreat was transformative for me professionally and emotionally. My relentless self-doubt was forced to take a backseat due to being replaced by new and encouraging thought patterns I learned during the retreat. Granting myself the time to sit, think, and feel created honest and achievable professional goals. Then the ongoing gatherings after the retreat re-focused me on what I needed to do and reinforced the lessons I learned. In short, attending set me up for success beyond my wildest expectations for the entire year."
- Debby Williams, founder of The Good Enough Activist Project

"As a professional creative for 20+ years (10 of those independently), I am fairly well-equipped for productivity. But Suzanne's retreat just lifted it all up a notch - I feel even more motivated by what I love about what I do, less disheartened by what I don't love, and had a lot of fun enjoying the process with a room full of fellow innovators. Thanks Suzanne!"
